Get Involved

Our work now turns to the public. If you have questions or wish to join us, use the form below. Every enquiry matters. Every voice strengthens the record the State would prefer to ignore.

This is not a casual call for interest. It is an invitation to stand with a community that has carried this history alone for far too long. Whether you are a survivor, a family member, an ally, or someone seeking to understand the truth, your engagement helps ensure this story cannot be pushed back into silence.

You can also request our template letter for the Queensland Pilot Program. It sets out the key issues, the rights at stake, and the obligations the State can no longer avoid. The letter supports survivors who have been challenging the State for years, giving them a clear, unified framework the State can no longer dismiss.

If your forced‑adoption experience occurred in another jurisdiction, the letter can be adapted. Many of the same demands apply across Australia. Its purpose is simple: to ensure no one approaches the system alone, and to require the State to make a current, on‑the‑record decision. That decision — or the refusal to make one — becomes the foundation for the legal challenge ahead. This harm is collective, not individual, and the case we are building can only be pursued as a group.

Why We Use a Contact Form

Protecting survivors. Protecting volunteers. Keeping participation voluntary.

Some people have asked why we use a contact form instead of publishing personal contact details. We want to explain that clearly.

Many survivors feel cautious when a website asks for information. That caution is reasonable, especially for those who have lived through institutional harm, secrecy, and misuse of power. Our approach is designed to protect both you and the volunteers who run this project.

Who We Are

We are a small, self‑funded group of private citizens doing this work in our own time. We are not backed by any institution, government agency, or organisation — and we choose to remain independent. Because of this, we do not publish personal phone numbers or private email addresses on the website.

Using a contact form protects our volunteers from misuse of their details and allows us to manage communication safely and responsibly.

What We Ask For — and Why

Our contact form asks for the minimum information needed to reply:

  • A name — not a full first and last name. You are welcome to use a pseudonym.

  • An email address — so we can respond to your message.

  • No phone number is required.

  • No other personal details are requested.

You are free to share as much or as little as you choose. Participation is entirely voluntary.

Your Safety and Autonomy

You are not required to provide anything that makes you uncomfortable. You are in control of what you share, when you share it, and whether you engage at all. Many survivors prefer to use a pseudonym or a secondary email, and that is completely acceptable.

Your privacy, your pace, and your boundaries come first.

Our Commitment

We are transparent about our purpose, our independence, and the work we are doing. At the same time, we must protect the privacy and safety of the individuals who volunteer their time to support this movement.

If you have questions before deciding whether to engage, you are welcome to ask them through the form. We will always respond with respect, clarity, and care.

The truth gathers force. Each voice tightens the case.
